Gathering - Weekend Stitch & Spin 6pm - 9pm (2026)
We used to call this Gathering - 4th Friday Spinning 6pm - 9pm (After Hours)
Free monthly stitching and spinning gathering. All are welcome, you don't need to know how to spin. You just need to want to hang out in a yarn store on a Friday night! Bring any yarn or fiber related project you are working on. Tables will not be available (tables will be put down to make room for spinning wheels), so if you're coming to knit or crochet, plan for a lap project. Seating is limited, RSVP Recommended.
We love it when you sign up in advance to let us know you are coming.
This is an after hours event. We will cancel same day if we do not have enough people signed up in advance. (Judgment usually made early on the day of the gathering but may be made the day before). Anyone registered in advance will be contacted in the event of cancelation.We meet on the 4th Fridays September-May.
We may skip or reschedule meetings when there's a holiday close to the 4th Friday.We switch to 4th Saturdays in the Summer, June-Aug.
We switched to 4th Saturdays to avoid Frederick Road Friday Concerts. Its a fun local event but it makes parking for spinning night challenging.Frederick Road Friday Concerts happen every Friday June - Aug. Check out their concert schedule here.
