Class - Crochet Hexagon Cardigan

Have you ever wanted to make a crochet sweater but didn't know where to start? This is the class for you! This sweater is made from two granny square hexagons and seamed up the back. It is easily adjustable for any size (you'll learn how in class!).
This is a low stress class. Work at your own pace. There's no deadline. Cas will demonstrate and review all construction aspects throughout the class so you will be able to finish your cardigan in your own time. We recommend choosing bulky-weight or worsted-weight yarn if you want to try an complete your cardigan over the duration of the class.
Cas will walk you through the whole sweater, from getting started, to cuffs and ribbing, to easy modifications you can use to customize your cardigan. Class discussions will include how to customize size, lengths of sleeves or hems, modifying neck bands and cuffs, alternative stitches, and how to add buttons or a zipper for closure as well.
Minimum Skills Required

Yarn
Use your stash yarn or get 10% off any yarn purchased to complete your class project. This sweater is easily adjustible for any yarn size. Note that the yardage listed below based on yarn thicknesses are estimates and actual yardage will vary depending on the size you make and the modifications you may choose - making a gauge swatch may be neccessary to determine exact yardage. Due to the modular construction of this project, exact gauge is not critical to achieve fit - but gauge can help determine how much yarn you may need to complete your project.
We recommend choosing bulky weight yarn or worsted weight yarns if you want to try an complete your cardigan over the duration of the class.
