Class - Friend Shaped Sheep

Introducing the Friend Shaped Sheep pattern by our very own Cas!
This is an intermediate project. There are some more complicated crochet stitches used, such as popcorns, bobbles, and stitches worked only in the front or back loop. The pattern includes different customization options for the wool on your sheep, using either bobbles or popcorns to get your desired amount of floofiness.
This friendly sheep can be made using any weight of yarn- just adjust your hook size accordingly. Gauge is not important, just be sure that you like the fabric you’re creating!
As is the case with a lot of amigurumi, you don’t need a lot of yarn to make this sheep. Even when working in bulky blanket yarn, Cas never used more than one skein of any color. This could be a great stash buster project!

Materials
Yarn: The best yarn for amigurumi is firm- a high acrylic, wool, or cotton content is recommended. Fluffy blanket yarn works great as well!
Recommended Yarn from the Shop: Encore Worsted, Ella Rae Cuddle, or Coastal Cotton.
Hook: (Amigurumi is made using a smaller hook than the yarn normally calls for!)
Bulky Yarn: 7 4.5mm or H 5mm
Worsted Yarn: D 3.25mm or E 3.5mm
DK Yarn: C 2.75mm
Polyfil will be provided. If you choose to use safety eyes, we will provide small size safety eyes (8-12mm) but if you make a big project, the shop sells large safety eyes (18mm) which are available for purchase and will not be provided.
The printed pattern will be provided in class. If you would like a digital copy, it is available for purchase on Ravelry for $3.
