KAL - Malabrigo Rios Lehigh Shawl Cast on Party
Join Amanda and Stephanie at the shop Monday evening September 2nd to start your Lehigh Shawl. (Yes, this is Labor Day.)
We will open the doors at 5:30pm but we don't expect to get started until 6pm. Come late, leave early. You'll get help starting your shawl and begining the Bud pattern.
The Lehigh Shawl pattern by Melanie Berg (originally from Malabrigo Book 10 Rios) is the next knit along from Malabrigo. This beautiful pattern requires 6 skeins of Rios yarn. The sample shown in these photos features 4 skeins of Whole Grain and 2 skeins of Sagittarius. Feel free to mix and match different shades of Rios to create your own unique masterpiece! (If you love Rios as much as we do, you might already have yarn for this project in your stash.) If you need to purchase Rios, get 10% off any Rios purchased for KAL project.(in-store purchases only)

Project Information:To knit this shawl (the skill level is advanced beginner) you would need to know how to:
- Knit
- Increase stitches
- Decrease stitches
- Slip stitches
- Yarn over
- Drop yarn overs
- Draw up long loops
Prizes from Malabrigo
KAL participants are invited to share their progress and photos on Ravelry, Facebook, and Instagram during September 2024 for the chance to win weekly prizes. Please use #malabrigokal on all social media channels.
To be eligible for the prizes, projects must be knit using only Malabrigo Rios.
